Come join us for a look at this Christmas classic and discover some nuggets of wisdom that encourages our walk with Jesus and to one another. This study will help us focus on what the real meaning of Christmas is. We will share with one another our struggles and triumphs in living a Jesus centered life.
December 11th & 18th 2019 @ 8 pm Eastern
We will host this study virtually using a meeting room which allows you to enter the room through a website, telephone or directly access the room through an app. You will receive access information upon registration.
Anyone interested in discussing the movie “its a wonderful Life”. Space is limited to 12 participants so do not wait to register. If we have more then 12 participants we will consider hosting two studies. Especially if there is a need for another time zone group.
Small group rules
I acknowledge that every person in this group is at a different point in considering,
seeking or following Christ, and I will value and affirm people for who they are.
I’ll maintain complete confidentiality. What I read and write stays here. Any notes I may
want to keep will not include names or other specific identifying information.
I understand that others will need to be encouraged to share, to be open and to show
emotion. I will let them do so, without being judgmental, trying to “fix” them or offering
I understand that some of us are talkers and some of us are quieter, so I’ll be aware of not dominating the discussion or always leaving the weight of it to others.
I’ll stretch myself to be as open and honest as I can with my perspectives and experience to create a safe environment that might encourage others to take risks, too.
Community can be very messy, and conflicts may arise. I’ll offer grace to others and
won’t leave the group over disagreements, realizing that God might use conflict in my
spiritual formation some way I don’t currently understand
